The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster was released simultaneously with Godzilla King of the Monsters. Monster Island focuses on an island known as Monster Island. Here a monster can be seen, and who itself is kind of the Island.

As this is an asylum movie, it has the approximate budget of a big kid's meal and uses it sparingly - focusing on a few human characters, and keeping it's big names in one set where all their scenes can be filmed over lunch break. Let's not forget that this is the kaiju movie genre, and they do it well, so maybe (first article) The Asylum will not be so bad with it.
